Motivation and objectives
As in recent years, there is a rapid increase of interest for Virtual Environment (VE), especially Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) we see that the current VR/AR trend goes towards industry rather than consumers products, and that there is as well increase of research about it. Therefore, this special session plans to focus on state-of-art research about QoE in VR in different fields from gaming and learning over sports to health and psychology; different aspects of human-computer interaction (HCI) and interactivity; improvements of performance, engagement and motivation; different ways of rating VR and AR experiences; standardization efforts; and methods and practice in user experience (UX) and quality of experience (QoE).
